The 2005 Guitar Show - Arlington, TX USA
The
2005 Arlington Guitar Show was a great success. We sold several guitars
and acquired some interesting items which will be available on the site
in a few weeks. An event like this always draws a large crowd. Buyers
looking for a certain guitar to add to their expanding collection and
sellers who are looking to cash out and traders who want to trade up.

We
have expanded our line up this year to include more 70's models and a
few 80's classic guitars. These guitars are becoming more valuable and
are a great investment. The 1980 Gibson's are always a good investment.

I'm glad we managed to get
some pictures of these beautiful guitars while we were at the show. Many
of them found new homes the day of the show while others a few
weeks later...sad but true.
Our customers will recognize the metallic
blue '66 Gibson 335 (below) which hung on the wall for a year at
the shop. This guitar was refinished early in its life and the paint
turned green . While it may not be a collector's piece it had a
killer neck and vintage tone.
Of course no tour of the
2005 Arlington Guitars Show is complete without a walk thought the
Gibson display. Gibson Custom Les Pauls nice ! I
hear tell that Rick Nielson owns a few Gibson's and often
frequents the Gibson booth at various shows.

We all had a great time
seeing familiar faces and meeting new people who share in our passion
for guitars. Hope to see you next time at the Dallas Convention
Center. Don't miss our next show!
